The Columbus Confection and Patissier Society has revoked the 2022 and 2023 Best Brownie Award from Representative Jim Lucas, after a toxicology report revealed that Lucas had THC, the active ingredient in cannabis, in his system following his arrest on May 31st of this year.

Lucas, who at the time of writing has not served any time for the misdemeanors following a guilty plea, was devastated by the news. “The Best Brownies award was source of happiness and glee”, said Lucas through a wave of giggles.

Lucas has been barred from participating in any further competitions until 2028.
