Arts Council Confuses Homeless Campsite for Art Installation

The Columbus Area Arts Council has removed a tent, 6 bags of trash, and personal belongings from the site of an art installation, after having confused the items for the actual art installation itself. The council finally became aware after the actual artist arrived. “We honestly thought it was quirky and tacky enough to be an installation we normally put around town, so we didn’t give it much thought otherwise”, stated a council spokesperson, “We get close calls like this all the time, but this is the third time we didn’t catch it.”

The items from the campsite have been bronzed in preparation of being moved to a new art installation site next week, where it will be title “Modern Urban Decay”
